Mark J. Perry is a contributing editor to The American and a scholar at the American Enterprise Institute. He is a professor of economics and finance in the School of Management at the University of Michigan, Flint campus. Perry holds two graduate degrees in economics (MA and PhD) from George Mason University. In addition, he holds an MBA in finance from the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He is the author and curator of the popular Carpe Diem blog.
